Hoezo in KINO

We’re happy to welcome back cinematic royalty to KINO for another wonderful live filmscore; the composer/player of the prize-winning soundtrack of Jim Jarmusch’ Only Lovers Left Alive Jozef van Wissem will play live to Jean Epstein’s The Fall of the House of Usher (1928), co-written with Luis Buñuel. Jozef van Wissem is a minimalist avant-folk artist and the worldwide go-to medieval lute player. To create a hypnotizing and unearthly live soundtrack to the classic horror that is among Akira Kurosawa’s and Roger Ebert’s favorite films, he will also use electronics and guitar. An unmissable event, exclusively in KINO on April 12th.
