KINO presents: Au revoir Jean-Luc Godard

Cinema is truth at 24 frames a second.” – Jean-Luc Godard

Cinema’s original enfant terrible, Jean-Luc Godard was one of the leaders of the French New Wave, a key influence on American cinema of the 1970s. A maverick force from the beginning, when his debut film tore up the cinematic rulebook, Godard continued to inspire and challenge moviegoers throughout a career that spans more than four decades. To honor his legacy, we present 7 of his films on the big screen. All films are in the French language with English subtitles.
