Hoezo in KINO

In 2003 Cidade de Deus (City of God) was screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. An overwhelming movie about life in one of the infamous suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, based on a book by Paulo Lins. Eventually, this film won no less than 4 Oscars in 2004, namely; best director, best editing, best edited screenplay and best cinematography. In honor of its release 20 years ago, we will screen this film in KINO.
