Special Nicolas Cage

Adaptation (2002)

Hoezo in KINO

When celebrating Nicolas Cage, it’s imperative to include his fantastic double role as Charlie and Donald Kaufman, the former being the writer of this film, directed by Spike Jonze. This meta movie blends fact and fiction into a fascinating tapestry of finding the essence of a story while rediscovering the true meaning of being alive. Cage mentioned that (for once) he followed the wishes of his director to the letter and while unnatural to him, it bagged him another Oscar nomination and showcased his incredible range as an actor alongside a fabulous cast consisting of Meryl Streep, Tilda Swinton and Chris Cooper. English language without subtitles.
