Lukas Dhont’s third film after Girl and Close is an overwhelming love story set in the hell of the First World War, in which a shy soldier finds love and lust with the leader of a theatre troupe who, with all their might, tries to offer solace to the troops amid the battles.
Dutch Angle: Chas Gerretsen & Apocalypse Now (2019)
In de documentaire Dutch Angle: Chas Gerretsen & Apocalypse Now zijn nog niet eerder gepubliceerde setfoto’s te zien van de Nederlandse oorlogsfotograaf Chas Gerretsen, gemaakt tijdens de opnames van Francis Ford Coppola’s Vietnam-epos: Apocalypse Now uit 1979. Gerretsen werd in 1976 persoonlijk door Coppola uitgenodigd op de set van deze film op grond van zijn ervaringen als oorlogsfotograaf.

To celebrate KINO’s 10th anniversary, in-house trailer creator Baris Azman presents a 60-minute visual reading on the history and evolution of the film trailer, featuring a selection of trailers shown on the big screen.

Somewhere in Los Angeles, the city of broken dreams, a stripper is murdered. Now, the private detective she had hired and her ex-footballer boyfriend are going to find her murderer… if they don’t kill each other first. But the more they dig, the deeper they become enmeshed in a web of extortion, blackmail and corrupt politics hidden beneath the surface of professional football.
