Starting June 29th, we invite you for a summer of cinematic discovery. For three months, we will screen twenty-two coming-of-age films, from twelve different countries. The universal themes of growing up – finding your place in the world, falling in love, navigating the educational system, making and losing friends, dealing with foes and family – resonate with us all.
Recognizing these shared experiences makes us appreciate and understand one another. We’re excited to screen a large variety of films, ranging from the whimsically sweet to the downright dire, but every feature retains that universal theme of innocence lost and braving the world. Some of these features are better known than others and we’d love you to get to get acquainted with all of them.
