Storyline
The Final Curtain Call by Alina Nastachenko. Short Film. An obsessed performer, so lost in the role she’s playing, finds herself unable to escape the clutches of the theatre. Trigger warning: flashing lights, kneedles, violence. Advisory age: 12+.
Of Women, Shadows and Lullabies by Daria-Maria Popescu. Short film. A young girl is hunted by a mysterious creature of the woods. When her escape becomes impossible, she must face the truth the creature holds. Trigger warnings: film contains nudity, sexual content, blood. Advisory age: 16+.
Snippets by Robin Grebenisan & Yara ter Veer. Short film. Two young adults are confronted by compulsory heterosexuality and the gender binary, feeling pressured into conforming. Through self-reflection and mutual support, they find their own paths and break free from the expectations that were imposed on them. Together they find the courage to be themselves in a world that doesn’t seem ready for them. Advisory age: 6+

Ever Enough by Noah Sin Ramos Pinto Martins Quelhas. Film trailer. A young man is raised under the constant pressure of fulfilling expectations, ending up on a breaking point. Trigger warnings: parental abuse / neglect. Advisory age: 6+.
Break Out by Diana Alexia Băcean. Short film. An artist who advances their career while sacrificing their passions is haunted in their sleep by ominous knocking. After achieving this coveted success, only to find it meaningless, they now must confront this daunting realization and attempt to break the vicious cycle during an epiphanic dream. Trigger warnings: film includes fictional body-horror (monsters), mental imprisonment, loud noises. Advisory age: 14+.
Mr Sun & Miss Universe by Souffien Melad & Alina Najum. Short film. When superstar Louis (also known as “Mr Sun” for his golden locks and grand personality) realizes that he is going bald, he embarks on a cosmic journey in which he re-evaluates his relationship to the transient nature of his body.
