Storyline

• Heard by Augustina Macyté. Short film. A group of girls are dancing in a field, when suddenly one of them is harmed after seeking shelter from a storm. Struggling to keep up with the herd after the incident, she must choose whether to stay or face the unknown. Advisory age: 14+
• Iemand voor Altijd|. by Maxim van den Bijgaart. Short film. Because of an extreme fear of dying, filmmaker Maxim van den Bijgaart obsessively 3D-scans his life to exist forever, but spirals into an existential crisis about what it means to actually be alive. Advisory age: 12+
• Graft by Freja Marie Thulstrup. Film teaser. Graft is a 2D animated horror short film of around 4 minutes. A girl, seduced by a monster, is consumed repeatedly as she gradually transforms and replaces it. The monster is a version of herself liberated from objectification– it is only muscle; it has no skin. She desires this, and in her lust, becomes both the objectified and objectifier. The cycle repeats when Girl finds herself in the monster’s place, looking at her figure once more. Trigger warning: Contains partial nudity, body horror, and implied sexual assault. • SMOTHER by Panayio Sarri & Mae McNamara. Film trailer. The sudden death of her abusive and controlling mother, Mot, leaves Saifohn struggling to cope. Devastated by her loss and with no one else to turn to, she builds a shrine in her mother’s honour and stays by her bedside as her corpse rots.
