Brooks and grippingly performed by Shirley MacLaine and Debra Winger. Nicholson’s unbridled energy and defiant attitude brings an equilibrium to the emotional core of the film that remains a true 1980s classic, bagging an incredible five Oscars (Best Film, Director, Actress, Supporting Actor, Adapted Screenplay) including Jack’s second. Terms of Endearment is as heartwarming as it is devastating. English language with Dutch subtitles.
