Swamp Dogg gets his Pool Painted

Hoezo in KINO

They don’t come much more alternative than Swamp Dogg, the wildly eccentric and genre-bending musician who has been blending soul, funk, and satire since the ’50s, creating music that’s as strange as it is soulful. Known for his outlandish album covers (like riding a giant rat or floating in space), he became a cult favorite that allegedly gave Snoop Dogg his name and most recently made an album with Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). This fantastic doc pays homage to the crazy maverick and his friends Moogstar and Guitar Shorty.
This film has been booked together with the Left of the Dial-festival, taking place yearly in October.
