Hoezo in KINO

The latter gained international notoriety with his pitch black revenge thriller Oldboy, winning him the prestigious awards including the Grand Prix at Cannes. This bleak tale of a man held captive for fifteen years, then set loose to find the people responsible for this punishment, struck a nerve with international audiences and taught the world that you can apparently eat an octopus alive and that all you really need in a one-to-fifty fight is a claw hammer and true grit. This modern masterpiece of Korean cinema is coming back to the big screen to celebrate the release of Park Chan-wook’s newest thriller Decision to Leave and will be screened in Korean with English subtitles.
