Hoezo in KINO

This harrowing exploration into past personal trauma through the medium of film – blending fiction and documentary – dives into director Martha Coolidge’s own experience with sexual violence while on a date in her senior year of high school. While the fictionalized segments form the reconstruction, the real confrontation with past events materialise when the director engages with the male actor playing her assailant and his casually stated thoughts on what constitutes crossing the line.
