Remember when Steven Spielberg cranked out two Oscar-gobbling masterpieces in one year, while incorporating CGI into modern filmmaking (the plan was to have stop-motion dinosaurs, go figure) and doubling down on being de undisputed King of Hollywood? At the center of all the dinosaur induced madness was Sam Neill’s Dr. Alan Grant, a man not at all fond of smartass kids bothering him, but through the power of being hunted by prehistoric predators, his fatherly instincts are awakened.
