Special a 35mm presentation Cameron on Film

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991): a 35mm presentation

Hoezo in KINO

With The Abyss not really landing with critics and audiences, it was time to pull out the big guns for Cameron’s next project, and they don’t come any bigger than Schwarzenegger’s. The sequel to the 1984 surprise hit still holds up as one of the all time greats: gripping, tense, bleak-yet-hilarious and so absolutely packed to the rafters with mind-boggling action sequences it’s hard to choose a favourite. It simply has it all, and that’s including a Guns ’n Roses soundtrack and one of the scariest and fastest running antagonists ever to be caught on celluloid. T2 was a global hit when mono-culture still reigned supreme and had millions of high schoolers saying goodbye in Spanish for years to come. We were too young and babyfaced to get into the cinema back in ’91 and can’t wait to screen – and watch T2 on an original print provided by Eye Filmmuseum. English language with Dutch subtitles.
