As far as we could find out, this hidden gem in our retrospective has never been shown in The Netherlands before. Sexual assault an lighthearted comedy do not mix well, but (yes, there’s a “but”) this strange tale of accusation, investigation and ever stranger circumstance pulls it off. We curate and produce these retrospectives so people can discover new cinematic delights. It’s not often that we can dig so deep for a Dutch first, but with the help of the National Film Archive in Prague we’re able to proudly premiere a 57 year old film. Czech Language with English subtitles.
