Cine Mar – Surf Movie Night

Hoezo in Kino

The Cine Mar – Surf Movie Night presents the latest and award-winning ocean stories. The focus of this year spring tour 2019 is on Friendship. Be it of old local heroes in the film Satori, a group of friends who surf big waves in South Africa or the story of Kassia Meador, Leah Dawson and Lola Mignot – a group of female surfers who surf together in El Salvador and support the locals in their clean water project. The French film makers Arthur Bourban and Damien Castera show us, that even in a country such as Liberia, destroyed by civil war, there is hope and that surfing can be a way out for the local youth.. Finally, in Cult of Freedom and Perilous Sea professional surfers, such as Dion Agius, explore the coldest water imaginable for human beings with shots so awestruck, that you almost forget the surroundings.
