“Cine Mar – Surf Movie Night” presents the Spring Tour 2018 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, Denmark and the Netherlands. To some people, the ocean is a fearsome and dangerous place but to others it’s the pure lust of life. Poor Boyz Productions present “Paradigm Lost” by Kai Lenny and Johnny DeCesare. Filmed over three years, in six countries, “Paradigm Lost” shares incredible sessions with world champions in big wave, kite surfing, windsurfing and SUP. In between of the action are oceanstories of the characters at the top of their sports.
A new documentary directed by John Rodosky, “Lines To Hawaii” follows pro snowboarder Travis Rice and pro surfer Ian Walsh as they sail 2,500 nautical miles from Tahiti to Hawaii, discovering untouched surf breaks and exploring some of the most remote islands on Earth. On their journey, they partnered with “adventure scientists” to take water samples testing for microplastics in the ocean.
The short film “Road To Inspiration”, produced by Chris Burkard Studios, follows the photographer, creative director, speaker and author Chris Burkard as he reflects his former journeys as a kid and his following experiences he made after he built his van to carry on the tradition. “Road To Inspiration” retraces his steps as a photographer and shows what the explorer inspires the most.
The animated short film “Such A Long Time” is produced by Josh Rufford. Josh likes to draw, paint and animate to create interesting visual compositions by using different and sometimes extraordinary drawing tools. His animated short film is about an adventure of a couple of unlikely friends which seeks for fun waves and good times.
