Prolific and controversial director and playwright Rainer Werner Fassbinder died at the tender age of 37 but already directed over forty films and countless stage plays before he constructed Berlin Alexanderplatz. A masterful 14 episode mini-series about an ex-con persuaded back into a life of crime while the country sets the stage for the Führer. We screen this series over two days in seven segments with lunch breaks, tea and coffee included. Presented in German with English subtitles.
